CUDO Communication Co., Ltd. (CEO Yong-Sik Kim), an AI security solutions specialist, announced on the 27th that it has successfully completed the deployment of an LED video wall–based video information display at the Korea Expressway Corporation Traffic Control Center.
Established in 1992 to manage approximately 4,700 kilometers of expressways and more than 5,800 CCTV cameras, the Traffic Control Center operates 24/7, 365 days a year. In response to rapidly increasing traffic volumes and significant changes in the traffic management environment, the center recently underwent a major remodeling project to upgrade its systems, with construction completed on the 2nd.
This project was carried out with the goal of enhancing the accuracy and speed of information delivery as well as strengthening integrated response capabilities. The newly installed LED video wall measures 18 meters wide and 6 meters high, featuring a total of 110.59 million pixels, making it the largest high-resolution, high-brightness display of its kind in Korea. The system provides intuitive, real-time visualization of traffic volume, traffic flow, incident alerts, and weather information, significantly improving monitoring efficiency and response speed.
In addition, CUDO Communication’s video information display system supports a multi-channel video operation environment, enabling the simultaneous transmission of CCTV footage, disaster alerts, and public broadcast content. This capability has further strengthened the control center’s information delivery and response capacity, contributing meaningfully to the enhancement of national traffic safety infrastructure.
A representative from CUDO Communication stated,
“We are honored to collaborate with the Korea Expressway Corporation in advancing a smart traffic safety system that operates without interruption throughout the year,” adding, “We will continue to drive technological innovation in the public safety sector and lead efforts to create a safer and more reliable transportation environment.”
