- AX-based next-generation integrated platform “CUVIA-ver1.0” sets a new paradigm beyond the limitations of conventional intelligent CCTV systems
CUDO Communication Co., Ltd. (CEO Yong-Sik Kim) announced that it has won the Minister’s Award at the New Software Product Awards, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT, with its AX (AI Transformation)–based next-generation integrated platform, “CUVIA-ver1.0.” The award ceremony was held on the 30th.
The New Software Product Awards is one of Korea’s most prestigious government recognition programs, selecting outstanding software products based on a comprehensive evaluation of technological innovation, market viability, and public and industrial impact.
This Minister’s Award recognizes CUDO Communication for overcoming the structural limitations of conventional intelligent CCTV systems and presenting a new standard for next-generation AI-based integrated platforms.
The award-winning CUVIA-ver1.0 is designed as an AX-based platform that integrates and analyzes video, sensor, and operational data, moving beyond the traditional intelligent CCTV approach focused on video-centric, post-event analysis. Its core strength lies in enabling real-time situational awareness and predictive, proactive response, rather than simple event detection.
The evaluation committee highlighted that CUVIA-ver1.0 features an integrated architecture capable of addressing a wide range of scenarios, including
social disaster response (crime and violence detection, crowd risk management, missing person tracking), and
natural disaster response (fire detection, flooding, and environmental anomaly monitoring).
The committee cited the platform’s high level of real-world applicability and scalability as key reasons for selecting it for the Minister’s Award.
CEO Yong-Sik Kim of CUDO Communication stated,
“This Minister’s Award is meaningful not only as recognition of product competitiveness, but also as official acknowledgment of our integrated safety platform vision aligned with the era of AI Transformation (AX),” adding, “Through CUVIA-ver1.0, we will continue to contribute to building safer and more intelligent urban and social infrastructure.”
CUDO Communication plans to further expand the application of CUVIA-ver1.0 across public safety, smart city development, and integrated control environments, reinforcing its leadership in AI-driven security and digital transformation.
